Terrible terrible place. Please don't
go! Or if you do then don't say i
didn't warn you!
The staff are so rude, and the food is
so over-priced.
The people that go here are the kind of
people you would usually try and avoid.
Vain, self-obsessed snobs.

Amazing Venue for a Wedding

What a fantastic day - booked out the
Restaurant on the top floor, chose the
food we wanted for our 30 guests, chose
our own music on our iPod, buffet
afterwards for 60 people. Can't fault
it. Service excellent, staff friendly,
Chris the manager made it all so easy
with his flexibility and advice -
absolutely faultless. We frequently
visit now to eat and drink and never had
a bad experience yet in the year we've
lived in Chap A. Get your ass to the
Angels!

I cant stress strongly enough what a bad
decision it would be to hold any sort of
function at Angels Share. But I will
try. Buffet so overpriced. Very limited
choice. Not enough food for the amount
of guests invited. Food came out in
stages, very slowly and was dominated by
pizzas which were not on original menu.
Pizzas had some dubious toppings
'Hoisin Duck and cucumber' anyone? Not
enough plates and cutlery. These were
just a few of the problems too long to
list. We were let down on every level.
Especially by the manager who was
abrupt, rude and very unhelpful. Which
is fine after they have taken your
money!! Dont say I didnt warn you.
HONESTLY!

Appalling service!

Read the good reviews here and though
we'd pop in for a bite to eat around
2pm Saturday gone. Food area had around
4-5 tables in use. Ordered a starter
and a panini for our "quick bite to
eat". After 30 mins we enquire about
our food, you girl serving tells us it
is on the grill now. 40 mins came along,
enquired with the manageress (who
happened to be sat across from us doing
paperwork) when we might get our food,
she came back to say it was on its way!
A full 50 mins after we ordered we
finally got our starter and panini. Yes
they were ok but the the wait had
totally ruined it for us. Even when we
asked for the bill the waitress decided
doing another few jobs and keeping us
waiting yet again was more important.
Anyway, following a complaint to the
manageress, who incidentally had not
checked on us following our earlier
problem, finally apologised and gave us
20% discount on the bill.
A real shame overall, unlikely to eat
there again, at those prices I expect
better.

Angels' is the daddy.
Food is great quality which makes up
for the fairly small menu. Beats Casa
hands down(better food, better service
and no cheesy italian pop)
But the drinking! Draughts are great,
Lindeboom being my favourite. Good
bottle selection, excellent wine list
and a nicely put-together cocktail
selection. It's worth noting the
ability of the staff here as well. All
very friendly and actually seem
genuinely interested in customers. Even
the newbies are good. I hesitantly
ordered a Manhattan from a young guy
with excessive hair and pink shoes
(needless to say I doubted him), and he
nailed it! The senior barstaff are
amongst the best in Leeds.
Basically good food, booze and service.
If you catch it on a weekend some great
tunes are played by the DJ, finishing in
drunken singalong, which is totally at
odds with the chilled sunday morning
brunchtime atmosphere!
BBQs in summer as well!
